Number Tile Workshop
Create your own personalized number tile in this hands-on ceramics workshop! Perfect for home decoration, this class will guide you through the process of making a unique ceramic piece that can display your house number or any other number of your choice.
In this hand-building course, you’ll learn how to roll out a smooth slab of clay, design and cut stencils for your numbers, and attach them securely to your base. You’ll also explore decorative techniques, including painting with colored slips (engobes) and the sgraffito technique, where you color the surface of the clay and carefully carve your design into it.
Once the workshop is complete, your pieces will remain in the studio for drying, firing, and glazing. All tiles will be finished with a glossy transparent glaze, bringing out the textures and colors of your design. You’ll be notified when your creations are ready for pickup—ready to add a personalized touch to your home.
